Q. How can a librarian help with my online classes?

Librarians can help with web-delivered coursework in the same way that they assist learning in face-to-face classes:

Through Instruction:

• by assisting in design, implementation, and/or assessment of assignments
• by developing resource-based or competency-based instructional materials

Through Resources:

• by assisting you in identifying and embedding online resources
• by assisting you in identifying relevant Open Educational Resources (OERs) 

Through Communication:

• By sharing with your students how to get help from a librarian
• By joining one or more discussion forums during the class
