Distance Education students (students at the Del Rio, Eagle Pass, Uvalde, campuses, or if you are taking online classes only) have full access to the SRSU Alpine Library's resources. If you find a book or audio visual material (that is normally able to be checked out) in WebCat, then you can use our Inter Library Loan service to request those materials to be sent to the campus that you're at, or to your home address. Instruction on how to use ILL can be found here in the Library LibGuide.
For materials that you can't check out (reference books, newspapers, journals), you can request to have them scanned for you in the same ILL form, but choose journal article or book chapter and on the second form page choose "Document Delivery".
You also have full access to all of the library's online journal databases. These databases have access to all the hundreds of journals that the library subscribes to online and you can search for articles individually. More in depth information can be found in the Library LibGuide.
You also have full access to our librarians. If you ever need any help regarding research or information about the library in general, you can use LibAnswers to email or instant message us or call us at (432)837-8272. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us!
